Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Tumminia is a VERY intelligent person. I personally have struggled with writer's block but Dr. Tumminia was extremely willing to work with me. He gave our class interesting topics to write on and truly made English comp a great experience!

    Course highlights:

I learned more than just composition in this course. I learned a lot about myself. As previously stated, I struggled with writer's block and this caused me to believe that I was not a talented writer. This course taught me that my limits are only what I put on myself. This class, along with Dr. Tumminia, really helped me grow as an individual.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always keep an open mind on the topics. They may sound like hard topics but if you break them down and stay creative, you'll end up with a fantastic paper!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of how interactive our professor was. She was always on top of everything and made herself concerned with every student in the class. She was always interested on the daily class discussions and topics. She taught in a way we were all able to effectively learn.

    Course highlights:

I learned actually a lot on the effects of global harm being done. It was an apocalyptic literature course so we read a lot of books on different apocalypses. We talked about the importance of preventing a real one with the damage we as humans are doing to our planet.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All you have to do is do the homework when its due. It is not too difficult. It makes you appreciate a lot more than one would realize in an English course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class mainly because it's required for almost all students so it's just better to get it over with and out of the way as soon as possible.

    Course highlights:

There were three main assignments throughout the course based on reading we had done. The class focused on globalization and the many different aspects of it and how it's become such a major part of our everyday life

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read your syllabus! She may forget to mention something at the end of class but even if she does you are still responsible for any assigned reading on the syllabus
