Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It gives you fantastic conversational Spanish speaking skills. The class size is small enough to feel a connection with the rest of the students and have a relationship with your professor - as opposed to large lectures.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the confidence I gained in my Spanish speaking skills. I learned it is okay to make a mistake.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You should go to class everyday. There are many reasons I will highlight the two main ones (at least for me) attendance goes towards your grade - and it is taken every single class. This is a class that is three days a week!! Also content that is covered in class is always on Ancla (the homework portal). It helps to have an idea of how to apply the skills you learn from class on your own in homework.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was an expeditied 8 week course and Professor Moneypenny made the 8 weeks completely rewarding.

    Course highlights:

Learning to communicate with confidence and past tense of verbs. I learned great communication skills in a second language.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is the first class of the second year of Spanish. It deals with a lot of grammar and vocabulary, but is not bad if you are willing to put in the effort.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of proficiency from this class. You are listening to and speaking Spanish 99% of the time, so you are totally immersed and if you pay attention you really gain a lot from that.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and pay attention. Do the homework. The tests won't be impactful if you create that buffer for yourself.
