Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed how this class was setup. There was a lecture component, followed by a lab where you got to actually test your skills. If you are anything like me, informatics was like a foreign word before I came to college. This course helps explain what the informatics field is, as well as what students can do within it.

    Course highlights:

Nina made these lectures a lot of fun while still teaching valuable material. This class is to teach students the basics of informatics and computing. We learned everything from robotics to careers in the informatics field (careers was my favorite lecture!). There was also a lab component, where students learn the basics of coding and programming.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is slightly tricky. The lectures do not have exams, nor does the material relate to the labs, so they sometimes seem rather pointless. Though they do not directly help you with your work, they do provide students with valuable information about their field. Plus, attendance is required so just go to class!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Honestly the class was a breeze. Nina was really friendly and so was her helper. The class is a very basic introduction to Informatics. Little to no previous knowledge about the field is required.

    Course highlights:

I learned what Informatics was all about and what we would learn in that field.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the work and you will get an A.
