Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Chemistry is a hard subject, but the material in this course is very interesting and the base of the rest of your chemistry career.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Always study. Take good notes. Go over your notes after class and do a practice problem or two to keep it fresh in your mind.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor is amazing and is able to lay out the material in a very understand way. I have a better understanding of general chemistry. If you are looking to move forward in a field that requires a tremendous amount of chemistry, I think this course would be idea as a starting point. Professor Robinson laid out old material that was (or should have been) taught in high school chemistry very well in a quick, smooth way.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight of this course would be the exams and most important, the final. Professor Robinson posted study guides and if you do them (do the study guides) you will be better prepared for the exams. All the exams were similar to the study guides and aided me in knowing what kind of questions will be on the exam, what I needed to work on, and what I understood. Also, it is very useful to write side notes on your study guide to bookmark what your thought process was. This course taught me how to be diligent and firm regarding my personal development. As long as you remain headstrong and strict with yourself, you will pass this course with an A.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, I would recommend finding a time that you are able to go to the professor's office hours and become acquainted with them. If you aren't able to go to the professor's office hours, go to an any AI's office hours and ask for help. Even if you understand the material, go and get use to sitting in one or two specific office hours every week.
