Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Personally this course didn't have any benefit to my degree path. I took this course as a gen-ed and what I got out of it was not expected. Although it was fast paced and with somewhat challenging exams; the information I received on a general spectrum could be applied throughout my future career.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic strategy of business, such as how certain principles and methods can be applied to achieve higher results. Professor Kanning also repeateadly stressed that he wasn't preparing us for now but for the future. He says "the business world is still advancing while you're in college so you have to be prepared for the future when you graduate". A highlight of this class would definitely be the Hershey kisses. He used the candy as an incintive to participate in class discussions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I could give to students interested in this course is GO TO CLASS. Almost all the important information is discussed in class. Of course there are readings and other ways to study, but the best way to achieve the highest results is to be attentive and prepared for the lectures.
