Do not wait until the day before your homework is due to complete it, because it is likely you will not remember how to solve the problems as well as if the information had been fresh.

this taught me how to apply mathematics to everyday life and showed me that you do actually need to use this type of economic math for day to day things

buy the book, do the extra assigned problems and dont be afraid to ask for help because chances are someone else is wondering about the same thing you are.
