Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Excellent course to take whilst learning of mental illnesses, the history of insane asylums, the DSM-5, and anything pertaining to that of various disorders of the mind.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of insight on the mistreatment of patients that were placed in mental homes from 1800s to late 1900s. This included foul care taking, poor upkeep of facilities and abuse toward patients including illegal and inefficient surgical procedures believed to "cure the mind" of illnesses such as bipolar or depressive disorders.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class, read the required material and become interested in the fascinating facts presented to you throughout the course.
