    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Helen is an amazing professor who is truly interested in the opinions of her students. The class is largely discussion based which made it interesting to see how some people thought differently about certain topics in the class but it was also interesting to see people's opinions change based off the information given in class.

    Course highlights:

There was so much information given in this course that it is hard to pick the highlights. This class really shines a light on the flaws of criminal justice systems around the world but especially the United States. It shows how much gender and race really plays on how much prison time a person is going to get. The numbers and statistics given really put things into perspective and makes you want to do something to change the way things currently are.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Instead of focusing on writing everything down, try to focus more on the discussion and the important things that are highlighted. She posts all the slides on Canvas which helps a lot with studying for the exams
