    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a necessary course, but very difficult. Make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to study.

    Course highlights:

You learn certain areas of organic chemistry, focusing on the mechanisms or organic reactions and the chemistry of biological compounds. I was most interested in the graphing of certain reactions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take it during the same semester as Organic Chemistry II. You need a lot of time to devote solely to this course. I would pair it with an easy course load.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly use both IR and NMR technologies in a time-efficient manner.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you buy the required books because they are essential to understanding and completing assigned work.
