    Course Overview:

    This course introduces students to social work for the first time, and this often has huge implications. Social work is more than just a vocation.

    Course highlights:

    Learning about social work means learning about social justice, the worth of every person, privilage, class divides, various forms of oppression, and more. These lessons are invaluable.

    Pay attention and engage! Do the work and you will succeed.

    Course Overview:

    The course was challenging but a great way to learn about the field without getting too in depth. It lays a strong foundation for understanding social work.

    Course highlights:

    I learned common social work practices and how to apply those practices. We studied popular examples and listened to guest speakers from the field.

    Advice for students:

    A student should stay up on the small assignments; those points added up quickly.
