Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is very writing intensive. I was not expecting that going into the class and I have struggled. However, it has been a very interesting class. Maybe the fact that I am taking it online and not on campus has contributed to my difficulty. I honestly think that had I known about the group project and the amount of writing I would have waited to take the class until my workload at work was lighter but I'm getting it out of the way and learning a lot.

    Course highlights:

The class focuses on different types of environments in different types of organizations. The discussion posts really make you take step back and look at things from the viewpoint of someone living in or working in anther country.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If taking online be prepared for weekly discussion posts as well as weekly PowerPoint presentations or short papers. The midterm is a lot of writing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I find it interesting to explore how other countries conduct business. It has really opened my eyes to a lot of issues that I have never thought about when working with people from other cultures.

    Course highlights:

I am still taking the course, but I am enjoying the research. I am currently working with a group on a project regarding Mexico banking.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a open mind. I have engaged myself so much so I now know how politics play a big part in international business.
