    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I expected to have more fun in this class. It's not the teacher that disappoints me, it's the students, if I'm honest. If you don't have an engaging class, the entire course is ruined. Writing essays is no big deal, at least for me, but sitting in a lecture where no one answers the professor's questions gets so monotonous at 8am.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are being able to write essays on topics of your choosing. There are no topic guidelines, only the guidelines of the paper itself. I enjoy the freedom of speech allowed in this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to engage in conversation. Even if you're class is at 8am, go into it prepared with coffee and breakfast so that you're not falling asleep on the kid next to you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a fun and interesting class that takes was not just notes and tests, but group activities and games. She taught us or at least me that learning doesn't have to boring and in order to get to the next step you have to face your fears.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of how to create different types of essays and enhancing your essay with different types of quotes and ways to incorporate your quote into your essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to work hard because every few weeks there will be a new essay you have to write and there's a lot you'll have to learn.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Polley is one of my favorite Professors because she engages with her students and the class discussions were always interesting.

    Course highlights:

We focused a lot on Pop Culture and Advertising, but I think the concept that I enjoyed talking about most is how marketers use certain appeals to try and get their audience to want to purchase a product.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to always do the readings that Dr. Polley assigns because she does quiz us every so often. Also, take advantage of her office hours because she is super helpful with essays!
