    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you aren't interested in the sciences or anything regarding processed and meticulous analysis, this isn't for you. But I would recommend this to anyone who is interested.

    Course highlights:

I haven't taken it yet, but I'll let you know when I complete it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Have good study habits, stay fueled, meet other people in your classes, be honest with yourself regarding what you do and don't know, and balance work and play.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is the perfect opportunity to explore the vast field of Environmental Science. Not only does it develop a strong definition of environmental science as a whole, but it also introduces all of the sub-fields and understanding of the need for environmental scientists today and in the future.

    Course highlights:

This course introduces students to all aspects of Environmental Science including environmental studies, job opportunities, specializations, the intentions of environmental scientists and so much more. If you are interested in environmental science but you aren't sure what it is all about, this course is for you. I actually discovered my niche by taking this course. I found that I want to be an environmental manager and work with the ocean to protect marine life from human interference.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard. Take in as much information as you can. You could probably pass this course with minimal effort but you wouldn't take much from it. Do all of the required reading and more! There is a lot of useful information you can take from this course whether you are pursuing environmental science or not.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed the class and there was great information. I was taking this to determine if I wanted to add Environmental Science as a second major, and I did so as I enjoyed the class. There was a lot of work involved and a lot of reading.

    Course highlights:

I gained a good overall view of environmental science and it helped me to see additional areas that I may want to concentrate on in the future.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this class, make sure you are staying on top of your reading and assignments. There are multiple assignments a week, more than other classes I have taken so far with SNHU. Also, hopefully you will have an instructor who is more involved as some of the discussions are difficult to respond on without additional guidance.
