    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While this course was very difficult for me and I had to work very hard to earn a high grade, I really did learn a lot about the world of art. I found it interesting and I am glad that I was required to take this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me were looking at art that I have seen all my life and learning about the history of the art and the artist. I found that very interesting. If in the future I am looking at art with a friend I will know many of the stories behind it. That is cool I think.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Allow time to really research the art that you are studying and take good notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very insightful into the arts, great study material and projects, and creates a new vision of appreciating art and the world around us down to the minute detail.

    Course highlights:

I gained not only an appreciation for art and artwork but also of the artists behind the paintings and works. Seeing the humanity, emotion, and story in each piece of art really widened my view of the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

prepare ahead for assignments and don't leave out details in discussion

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wrote better after taking the humanities because the ancestral past brought me closer to life and it's meaning.

    Course highlights:

    There were many spiritual aspects.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind. Bring yourself to an environment outside your comfort zone to prepare for the course. Study frequently outdoors or in a socially active environment.
