    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Looking at the world through the lens of anthropology is incredibly enlightening! Being able to understand where others are coming from and how their culture and upbringing have influenced their perspectives and actions helps to be more considerate and positive. The world could really use more of this understanding!

    Course highlights:

Using the lens of anthropology to explore situations and media was fascinating. The course-long big project involves watching a film (from a list or with approval) and selecting a character, analyzing that character's actions, motives, and experiences using chosen anthropological concepts. It was fun to explore a film in such a way, I learned a lot about it!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep on top of assignments; if you fall behind it's hard to catch up and do well, so complete assignments in a timely manner to ensure success.
