    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was a powerpoint based class on the history and modern use of technology. You can go into the class without knowing anything. Staying on top of the assignments though can get tricky as they are rarely brought up in class. Checking the online class room ( black board for me) was extremely helpful in staying caught up.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the beginning of the movie industry and radio and how it has developed into the smartphones and other technologies we have now. We were able to watch 'A Trip to the Moon' which was one of the first movies ever made. We also learned that recording was used for 'scientific' research in watching a film of a horse running. The purpose was to see if a horse lifted all four hoofs off the ground when running. It does.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

While this course is relatively easy, staying on top of the assignments is important. Listening to old time radio broadcasts, and films may be interesting, but it is still important to remember that the assignments are due in this time period. No late exceptions.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provided so much insight into Mass Communication. The different nuances and historical impact communication has had on the world. This professor was very creative in how she helped you to learn and understand each assignment. I found her to be very encouraging as well as knowledgeable about the subject.

    Course highlights:

I have always enjoyed researching but doing this course took it to a new level for me. I have not presented my research in a formal fashion. We used APA formatting and citation to present our research in our power point presentations. I also learned how important it is to ensure you have your facts correct because you could present information that would inform and teach the next person.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend everyone to take this course whom is pursuing any type of degree. Communication is very important no matter the degree we pursue. We have a responsibility even a mandate to present accurate information to the public.
