    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you are disciplined and are self motivated, you can learn a lot from the readings and teachings that this course has to offer. Just don't expect a lot of actionable feedback from Professor Rieger. He seems like a 'check the box' type of Prof, at least in this most recent term, YMMV.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning how to dig into the workings of a fictional company that I was running. The course helps you determine the strengths and weaknesses of your company through a SWOT analysis and how to exploit those strengths and overcome the weaknesses. I learned a lot, despite the lack of feedback from the Prof.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you review the course syllabus thoroughly, as there were many errors in mine. Complete your assignments on time, and be sure to hit the required sections per milestone, and you won't have any problems. He is a stickler for formatting (Copy and Bold each question, respond to discussion posts in a certain manner, addressing classmates, himself, etc) but again, as far as feedback goes - don't expect much. You can get by with the minimum in this course and do just fine.

    Advice for students:

I would consider taking this course while taking a second course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The final project was to develop a business plan. All of the milestone projects and discussion board topics were related to this final project. I am a small business owner and was able to write a business plan for my own business. It was relevant to me and helped me in real life. Be prepared - it was a fair amount of work, but there was no busy work.

    Course highlights:

In this class you learn about the business environment and what businesses need to do to succeed and innovate in the market. I was able to write a business plan for my own small business, so it was incredible helpful and beneficial for me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You have a discussion board post almost every week and a 8-10 page paper due every other week. The work is not hard but you need to be prepared to put the time into completing all the assignments.
