Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class focuses on creating and maintaining databases using SQL server statements. Be sure to read the book and take good notes on different query statements. There are millions of combinations that can answer one question of an end user. You need to know the right combination and be sure to pay close attention to what the question is.

    Course highlights:

I have learned how to organize data better and how to use SQL instead of excel. I have also learned the importance of understanding what the end user is looking for before you create a database or you will have a database with redundant information.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need to keep good notes and examples of a search query for several different queries. Learn how to read a SQL statement and what all the wild cards are.
