    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hunt was knowledgeable and helpful. The course exposed me to new authors and literary works as well as opened me to how to perceive written works objectively and from an analyzing perspective.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was that we constantly gave a literary analysis of each piece of writing. I strengthened my own writing skills and was able to harness the skill of being objective and seeing underneath the story and plot in order to reveal the literary devices used. I learned how to recognize and expose themes and I consider this a valuable asset.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared and finish the assigned readings ahead of time if you can. Look into cliff note websites that can help you interpret the stories if you're having difficulty. As well, Professor Hunt is very helpful and easily approachable so don't hesitate with turning to the teacher for assistance.
