    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class really helps you silence out all of your daily distractions and focus on the beauty of nature.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed using all of my senses to create poetry or writing pieces in general.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get behind, once you get behind it is really tough to catch up. If things come up, stay in contact with your professor they are extremely understanding.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was a good introduction to creative writing. It allowed for a lot of student to student interaction and the instructor gave good feedback on all submitted pieces of student writing.

    Course highlights:

We learned about different types of creative writing, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and screenwriting. We also learned about things like setting, character, tone, and other integral parts of the creative writing process. A lot of the work was done via discussion board, which made for a lot of feedback from fellow students on my writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always participate! It's important to respond often to the discussion board and to be as open to new ideas and interactions as possible.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It keeps you one track and really focuses in on what you need to for writing.

    Course highlights:

Every assignment was a highlight. Each assignment focused on a different aspect of creative writing. From setting, to plot to characters. It really made you feel prepared for your final paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep on track. Do each assignment as early as possible so you are not scrambling just to turn anything in. If you do the reading and keep what you learned in mind while writing, it should be smooth for you.
