Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. This course was very helpful in helping me to understand the many different types of addictions as well as understanding individuals who face addiction. The course was interested and kept me engaged.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was gaining a better, clearer perspective of individuals facing addiction and, gaining a deeper understanding of the societal issues that may be associated to the addiction. While addiction is complex, it was interesting learning some of the different techniques used when working with those with addictions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give is to discipline yourself and find a good balance. This course was not super easy or super difficult. The reading assignments were crucial to complete. In order to maintain proper balance in this course, I usually began my reading assignments early in the week to prepare for the discussion board that was due on Thursday, and then spent the middle to later part of the week working on projects or other assignments due by Sunday.
