    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is really great about giving you the most detail you need for a class. However, the work load is over the top. THere are at least two papers a week, several chapters of reading and then also discussions. The directions aren't always clear either.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was setting up my own business and being able to see what exactly was needed from every angle of making this business successful.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you make time and not do things at the last minute! The papers are full of information and missing one step costs you a lot of points.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As an entrepreneur looking to start my own business, the information I learned in this course was incredibly applicable. One of the most useful things I learned from this course was how to prepare financial statements for a small business.

    Course highlights:

This was a condensed 8-week course. The amount we learned in such a short period of time was outrageous. We covered many topics such as what constitutes as a small business, how small businesses contribute to our national economy, how to start a small business, how to grow a small business, and how to plan financially for a small business. The overarching theme of the class was creating a business plan.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The more that you invest in this course, the more you will learn. The course provides a lot of tools and resources that you can utilize for your future business success. Take advantage of these opportunities. As long as you turn your work in on time, and pay attention to rubrics and instructor comments, you will do well in this course.
