    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Basic intro to film techniques for creating videos for clients

    Course highlights:

Learned the importance of thinking through a shot and not just shooting from the hip. Learned to plan a commercial before shooting, how it is important to plan shots, lighting, and visual elements before attempting to film anything.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you plan time to do your video shooting, don't wait until Sunday night to look at the assignment because you will not have any daylight to do your filming.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! The textbook was so easy to read and comprehend and the application was instantaneous. I will never watch commercials the same way ever again.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning the jargon that used used for film. Framing, camera angles, light sources etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to what you already are in contact with. A lot the assignments focus dissecting TV commercials. Be critical, be specific, and use the correct jargon.
