    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'm about half way through my program so I've taken a wide range of classes, but this one is pretty amazing! It has a great reading list and the week to week work is interesting and engaging. I really love this class.

    Course highlights:

The evolution from modernist to postmodernist ideals in regards to gender and feminism is amazing to track. When examining works of literature, it is really fascinating to see how women are portrayed and what the author was trying to convey in their creation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading! A lot of the texts are good reading on any given day, the Moi text is a bit of a struggle, but in all honesty it's worth the effort and time. All grad classes come with reading so it's not that out of the norm.
