Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is passionate about the subject, giving the student more learning opportunities outside the classroom. She always is very involved and seeks to help the students in any way possible. The curriculum she teaches is fun and exciting, there is never a dull moment will learning about Abnormal Psych.

    Course highlights:

I have learned a lot from this course. You will analyze the socio-cultural, psychological, and biological influences on abnormal psychology. You will take an in-depth look at prevalent disorders, their symptoms and treatments, and how to best interact with patients.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best tip I can give any student is take the class for the right reasons. Don't invest money in a course you don't like because it will make it harder to succeed. Other that I understand there are some courses required to graduate, manage your time effectively. Re-evaluate your priorities, if school is not number one, maybe investing a lot of money is not for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was amazing. It taught me how to better understand most mental illnesses and it also taught me how to understand the diagnosis codes and criteria. This was one of my favorite classes as it gave me insight to the difficulties that many people go through and most don't talk about.

    Course highlights:

The discussion boards were so helpful in learning and the professor was amazing. She critiqued my papers and really helped me improve my upper level writing skills.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would make sure to understand how to properly site your discussion posts and papers. Be sure to set aside time for writing and reading as this class does require a lot of time reading different articles and books. r
