Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an awesome class. In today's world, everyone uses some sort of Accounting software that does everything for you. A person doesn't have to know where Assets, or Liabilities go in the paperwork, however this class tests your knowledge of where things go and on what paper, such as an Income Statement, Balance Sheet, etc. It gives you more experience in case your software stops working, you will have the ability to put the correct item in the correct sequence.

    Course highlights:

I learned that if I am not using the things I learned in school, by using an Accounting Software, I am defeating the purpose for actually learning.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would say take it, it is the discipline needed to show a person that we need to know hoe the entire book set up works before Quickbooks, or Peachtree came along and made it easy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There were great discussions among class members and the professor. Our professor's feedback was insightful.

    Course highlights:

This was the second of a three-part course. The course helped to break down some of the required components of financial reports and to demonstrate data that can substantiate them. It also helped to understand professional discretion in reporting financial figures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Budget time to complete homework. Participate in discussion early -- feedback from other students and the professor will help iron out any areas that you are having difficulty with.
