Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. This course helps you remember how much reading and writing are a big part of education and the real world.

    Course highlights:

While taking this course, I learned critical thinking when writing about particular topics. I also learned different styles of writing including proper essays.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You can choose your classes randomly. However, I prefer to follow the courses in order. English 102 is harder, but taking English 101 first will help things go smoother.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

First off, this course is mandatory. Therefore, you're not offered many choices on whether you take it or not. However, it's not as gruesome as Highschool English. It's three books and three essays. The main part is showing up!

    Course highlights:

The best part about reading a book as a class is being able to discuss it together. Each week you walk j to class prepared to share your thoughts on last weeks reading. It's always interesting being able to see other people's views on the passages you both read and see how they're interpretation is completely different. While you learn how to manage your time with assignments, you also learn communication skills along with being able to read, interpret, and relate to stories.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take a college course if you do not plan to show up. You are paying a large sum of money for the classes you enroll in and the main grade for most of them is showing up! If you are not willing to do the simple work for a class that meets once a week, it's not the right place for you!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Covers basics, not too difficult.

    Course highlights:

Good for learning types of essays and how to structure college papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do well on early assignments and you might be exempt from the final.
