    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for two reasons. First, I would recommend this class because Mr. Judge is an amazing teacher! He makes history feel exciting and relevant. Second, I would recommend this class because it was actually interesting! I looked forward to going to this class every week, even on test days.

    Course highlights:

I took this class several years ago, but I remember how meaningful our class discussions were. The class was on the anniversary of 9/11 and I remember we stopped to talk about this as a historical event and how it affected us personally.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

We rarely used a textbook, but we took a lot of notes! Pay attention. Show up consistently. Ask questions. Get involved in the discussion. This was one of my favorite electives!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

There is no course that I have been enrolled in that I would recommend prior to this one. My professor truly made the course memorable. Professor Judge is an excellent professor. He is clear, passionate and relatable. Every one of my classmates thoroughly enjoyed the course. I have never been a history fanatic, but this course certainly changed my mind.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the comfortable setting and presentation of material. Professor Judge is excellent at making the students comfortable. Almost every student wanted to participate. The material was also presented very well. Mr. Judge would take notes along with the class, making note of important dates and events. When beginning to study for the exam, I had already been very familiar with the material because participation was enjoyable in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to take copious notes. Do not miss anything that Professor Judge writes on the board. You will see this material again. Luckily, he moves at a steady pace so it is unlikely that you will fall behind.
