Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For this class, people are usually going into with a dull attitude because "history is a boring class". I would beg to differ after having Professor Rowley. He has a very upbeat attitude and tries his best to keep students involved with his lecture. If there is something you don't understand from his lecture, he will take the time out of his day to thoroughly explain it to you until you understand the material. He's very quick to respond to e-mails, as well. I genuinely enjoyed having him as a professor and also feel that I know history better than I ever did throughout all of my schooling.

    Course highlights:

We learned about common history, (WWI, WWII, Pearl Harbor, Western Settlement, Presidents, Great Depression, etc.), the same things we've been learning our entire lives in school. The difference here is that people who have no interest in history, will gain interest. Though I have been learning the same things over and over again, I never really truly understood it until I had Professor Rowley.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say as long as you are doing your work and making sure you understand what he is talking about, there is no way possible you can fail. I would highly recommend taking his course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Judge is a great teacher. He is really clear and concise and he makes history easy to understand.

    Course highlights:

Being taught American history is such a holistic way was so informative. It was very interesting to see how different events and thinking led to the famous parts of history. I made connections that I never saw before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests are in-class essay questions which come from his lectures. So, take really good notes and study them a lot before tests
