Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gives students a sense of culture and the way it has changed over the years. The professor is great and engages the students to think critically. Sociology is interesting because it teaches students things that they may have never thought of before. Once students are taught a concept in this class, it is exciting to be able to gain more knowledge about the world around us.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were learning why things are the way they are. For example, I learned about social norms and what would be normal to do in one country and not in another. There are norms that are used globally, but there are also specific norms for certain places around the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to take detailed notes and read the book. The tests are based off the chapters in the Intro to Sociology book. Attend every class because one absence will lead to missed discussions with the Professor about important topics.

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to listen in class if you want to pass. Everything you need for the tests is taught using the powerpoints.
