    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for the student that is interested in learning about how this country became all it is. Meaning how did it gather people, thoughts, and traditions and combine them into this melting pot called the United States.

    Course highlights:

Highlights in this class were learning how things came about. This class shows you in a clear fashion, chronologically how and why things came about in history. As well as why they did. I learned why taxes exist and there was a time that the colonies/states disputed their existence. This was due to the fact that the taxes that were being paid were being used to pay for the war,and this war was not our fight. The government then decided to bargain and forego taxes for one year, but the next year decided to put in place a Constitutional amendment mandating taxes get paid. This thought process is why there are some people today feel that taxes are unconstitutional.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

While reading, a student should take notes to guide them through the chapters so that studying for exams is not so difficult.
