    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class can be difficult at times but it is very rewarding and thought provoking.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were when we studied questions about life and what is valid or not.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS. It is very important in this course to attend class regularly so you have what you need for exams.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because i am gaining insight in a field that i had no knowledge about. I wish i had like a crash course book of the class so i wouldn't be blinded coming into the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the allegory of the cave. I have learned how it was based on a perception and how it can be perceived as real in many of people's mind. I also learned about Renee Descartes and how he was a clergy and didn't want to work for his father's monastery and wanted to help the other cities surrounding the area.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read and break things into very small chunks (pieces) because it is alot of material and it goes very fast and get as much help as possible and try to get as many different perspectives on the subject so you will start to form your own understanding.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to the student who is open to learning so many new terms and theories that will start to affect every decision you make in life. I recommend it to the student who is ready to hear stories that seem irrelevant to the topic, but once thought about in a deeper way, you'll realize that every story has to do with philosophy in some way or another.

    Course highlights:

I learned so many new theories and beliefs from this course. I learned that philosophy has more grey area than black or white with many blurred lines because philosophy almost never has a definite answer because it can always be debated depending on your point of view.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be ready to pay attention to the class lectures. Without it, you'll be lost when you try to read the textbook on your own. The lectures help enhance what you read about the day before. Also, you have to read. You will not get by in this class without knowing the terms and material given to you.
