    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course as it is required of all kean students. However professor McKenna made the course both interactive, cheap (no textbook), and he made giving speeches feel comfortable and natural, even for those with no experience.

    Course highlights:

Increased confidence in front of a crowd, how to write both informative and persuasive speeches, general information about communications as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always practice your speeches at least twice before presenting in class!! Put the work in to do your part for the group speech as well.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldnt recommend this class because there is a lot of presentations, speeches, and lectures given in this specific class. It is hard to keep up with writing out different types of speeches and making sure they are presented well and professional to the class.

    Course highlights:

Although I did not enjoy the course as much as I wanted to, I learned so many useful things throughout the semester. I was able to be more comfortable and professional during my speeches. I also learned about different kind of speeches, resumes, and learning about group work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to talk in front of the class for speeches and group presentations! Start to get comfortable with your class so it can be easier for speeches.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a bit inconsistent when assigning work and remembering. She is somewhat of a nice person and grades fairly but make sure that you stay on top of her when it comes to assignments as well as speeches

    Course highlights:

We learned what and what not to do during public speaking. We also had people come in to speak to us about working in Corporate positions

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you stay on top of her and make sure that you read what she assigns very thorough. She can be very dramatic at times which is a plus as well as a fault so just be careful and stay on her good side if you can
