Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking this course because it gives students a better understanding about literature. In this class I have read very interesting short stories and poetry that had certain impact on its audience such as sympathy or empathy. In this class we also wrote composition papers which are better because we were able to compare and contrast stories and give our overall point of view of the topic. Composition papers for this class definitely help enhance and better critical thinking.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course has helped me learn how to structure my paper and organize my thoughts better before writing my paper. Since we had to read poetry I learned to improve my critical thinking and find deeper meaning or connection in the poems I have read.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Since this course requires a lot of reading I recommend to read stories out loud that way students will be able to pay better attention to what they are reading and not doze off if they read silently. For poetry it is also wise to read it twice, the first time to have knowledge of what it is about and the second time to have a deeper understanding of what the author is trying to say.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is very passionate about all the work we do in class, although a lot of it doesn't directly relate to what our current project is.

    Course highlights:

He assigns 5 large paperspresentations throughout the semester, but is kind of a tough grader.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you show up to class and turn in your work, you'll be fine
