    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is necessary for marketing majors but professor Singh made the course one that actually allowed you to learn, think, and create all while making it a priority that students were retaining knowledge.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of marketing and how to analyze the marketing strategy of any company just from their about us page.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading is definitely key, the book isn't full of nothing and if you read and ask questions your grade will reflect it.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it teaches the foundations of marketing. In this course you will learn what goes into a marketing plan, how to segment, target and position your market. you will learn how to do a SWOT analysis on the market and why this is needed. Throughout the course you will be challenged on how much you actually know about the many different franchises and organizations in the world. It will force you to keep up with everything that is going on in the world around you.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was being able to come up with ideas on how to better position your market. I also enjoyed learning about the more popular franchises and companies in the world because you find out how they have been so successful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last minute to start anything. Read up on many different companies prior to coming to class.
