Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You will have a great experience about the course. The professor makes everything to catch up at first. He likes to make discussions and hear the student's opinions. He sends a few homework, but he gives you a week to finish the first draft. He is always available for his office hours, so one can go and ask for hep or improve one's paper. :D The best professor ever!! He is very patient.

    Course highlights:

How to revise essays by myself xD, How to write summaries/responses, different styles of papers, research paper, and I learn not to be afraid to give my opinion :)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show on time to the class, be respectful with everyone's opinion, send all your assignments on time, see the professor in his office hours for help. :)

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Axelrod was a teacher who truly cared about the subject and who truly wanted to help her students.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to take time and plan out my essays, instead of doing them all last minute. I learned how to revise my essays and even though it would take 3 or 4 times, the end product was always worth it. After taking this course, I have truly become a better writer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do the readings that she gives you. They may seem tedious, but they are truly helpful, and they will get you to where you need to go when it comes to writing essays.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course was great. It was easy and much involved. There was numerous discussions and plenty of essays to write. The Professor knew what she was doing and was very understanding. She made sure we understood the material as she without a hesitate went back and reviewed. Advice i would give, is to make sure all your work is done before you step into the class. Most of the material was review: commas, comma splices, colons, and semi colons, and so on. The information was very handy and definitely improved my writing. Overall, it was a helpful course and i can see why it would be a required course in college.

    Course highlights:

This course highlighted the different styles of sentences that can be used to get a point across. I learned sentence structures, dependent and independent clauses, and APA and MLA citations which are a must know for every college student. This class is still helping me today when I am one semester away from graduating. I still have my notes from English 1030 when writing research papers for Biochemistry and Genetics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To successfully pass this course don't procrastinate, don't procrastinate, and don't procrastinate. This would be the most important tip i can give. Don't leave your essays till the last minute, the Professor will notice. Start your essay the day its given, jot some notes down, brainstorm, and work on it throughout the days. Reread it and analyze for any errors, if something does not make sense go to the tutoring center and ask the tutors, whatever you do, don't procrastinate!
