    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is a great teacher and challenges you to learn.

    Course highlights:

I loved the labs, they allowed me to practically use the knowledge I learned in this class and prereq classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the labs on your own, pay attention to what the practice exercises the professor does on the board, do all the classwork and homework.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is not only a requirement for CS majors but is the most important information you are going to need when you get out in the real world and start applying for jobs. Specifically with Dr. Zale, he teaches very well with Java and teaches way more than any other professors will show you in this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned data structures very well in this course, the professor is great and really makes sure you know everything there is to know about data structures with Java.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to pay attention during class - you don't want to miss anything that is gone over - and study everything you go over during the week to help not forget anything. Definitely study hard for the exams and spend time perfecting the labs.
