Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is the perfect course for someone with a busy schedule. It is an online course with not too many assignments. There are multiple essays and a lot of writing tasks due during the course of the semester. The professor is strict in the sense of no late work, but there are multiple extra credit opportunities.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned how to properly write essays and how to properly write different forms of essays and other forms of writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say not to wait until the last minute to get your work done. Also, when it comes to writing essays do not be too wordy and do not overthink it. Keep it short and simple and to the point when it comes to getting your work done.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Prof. Kjelle always kept the class interesting. It could be because I enjoy English overall, but I thought that the course was interesting and she explained everything clearly. She always had a good attitude about everything and was always willing to help you out.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write in MLA without using the internet! I also learned how to write different types of essays.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's important for you to find a good professor because not everyone enjoys writing. You need to make sure the professor is understanding and willing to help you out whenever!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took an accelerated course for English Composition. It gave an opportunity to get out of the class sooner. The papers were shorter, but we had to put a lot more time into the quality of the paper.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning how compose a proper argument, how to compose a proper proposal, and how to write a proper proposal paper and an argument paper. We focused a lot on editing each paper and working on the quality of each paper.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To pass this course, we had to write at a much faster pase. It is important to really look at the formatting when editing the paper if you don't, it has a very negative impact on your grade. Make sure to double check the spacing, font size and type, margine space, and the set up of the works cited page. Teachers look for mistakes in those places. I would also recommend going to the schools tutoring center to get it proof read. After that, make the nessasary changes and do it again until your confident in your paper. It really helps.
