    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course with this professor because she absolutely resourceful in teaching you how to write at a college acceptable level. I thank her so much for showing us, the class, the many easy ways of writing by dumbing it down, literally. She showed us that many students make writing a complicted process, but it's just that: a process. So we learned step by step how to write correctly and professionally, and as well as work smart and not hard.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the opportunity to work with other students and using them as critics of your work. That and we had so many chances to read poetry and understand the use of language that changes meanings, moods, tones, and even the path of a story. If she hadn't incorporated that into the course, I don't think I'd be able to write as well as I do now.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take as many notes down as possible. And most importantly, don't stress it. The work might be a big load to tackle, but it's fairly simple and easy to complete. There will lots of questions to ask and it might be very monotonous to answer those questions every single day. But if you put in the effort to sit down and get them out of the way, you'll feel really relieved all the work is done. And you'll also realize that the effort you put in homework will pay off when you have writing assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking Section 2 allows you to watch and write articles about movies, particularly of the older kind. Every class, we'd watch and discuss films, receive articles and reviews, and write our own essays for homework.

    Course highlights:

How to dissect certain elements of film in order to understand deeper meanings

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't slack off and actually read the articles. Brush up on using in-text citations and MLA format, particularly the newest format!
