Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really loved this class. the professor is probably different now but the course work is the same. A great intro to English Comp

    Course highlights:

Our reading assignments were always our own choices and our writing assignments weren't as bad as we previously thought

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask as many questions as you can now. The next Comp course is much more difficult

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this as a dual enrollment course through my high school, and I would definitely recommend other students doing that. It was really helpful to get used to the kinds of assignments I'd be doing in college.

    Course highlights:

The final assignment was really beneficial. We had to complete a college assignment from the discipline that we intend to pursue. That taught me a lot about what kind of courses and assignments I would be doing in college. I also learned a lot about other types of assignments that I'd be doing in college in general.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

We didn't have much time to do any of the assignments, which made it difficult. I would recommend planning out your workload and time so that you can produce the best quality work. I would also recommend asking questions and getting as much feedback on your work as you can.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has taught me a lot about the structure of writing papers and MLA format. I feel that I am now proficient in composition. The professor is very good at what she does and gives great feed back.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the art of rhetoric and had to write a paper on which of two authors used the art of rhetoric better in their articles. It taught me a lot on writing a persuasive essay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read the assignments. They actually get very interesting.
