Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr.Taha is the most incredible teacher. She really finds time to sit down and talk to you if you're having trouble. Even if you can't sit with her in person during office hours, she'll email you. This course really focused on every aspect of each culture like language, race, gender, and kinship. As a freshmen, I've learned so much in just my first semester and I would definitely take her course again!

    Course highlights:

One highlight was the final project we are assigned. You get to choose your very own topic and present to the class. I'm not a person that presents but this class helped me! I never thought I would overcome my fear of presenting but I really did. Another highlight was just going to class everyday because I never knew about the things we learned. I respect the LGBTQ community and I never knew the difference (Definition wise) from gender and sex. As we learned about that, I was more aware and learned that I should inform myself more often!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please read the textbook before you come to class and take notes. Without notes and the textbook, you won't be able to pass this class. This information is not dry so it's fun to read and take notes. Also, do not be afraid to contact her. One of the easiest professors to contact and talk to. I feel like I'm sitting with a friend when I talk to her.
