Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is great with her knowledge in this field of psychology. She manages very well the content of the course 100%. She can teach without needing the book because she has so much knowledge. It is her profession, but this is definitely a very challenging course to take. There is a lot to learn, and a lot of HARD STUDYING and commitement.

    Course highlights:

Psychological Research and Statistics. We learn a lot of definitions, and had 3 exams that count for most of your grade. How to conduct a research paper, and all of the steps to have the proper information, experiments, comparison, other research articles, etc.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it seriously, stay on tip of your work, really learn the content and study HARD for the exams. They can be very tough, count for most part of your grade and you can easily fail the class.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is a hard grader and the tests are all in blue book form. If you are like me when it comes to taking exams, meaning do you get nervous when you see too much space and blank out, don't take the course. It was stressful and I felt like I was always failing. I passed the course with a B+. Another thing to keep in mind when I say enjoy your material, I mean in order to pass the course you have to know and discuss the way you would talk about it in a regular, everyday conversation. The one thing that she has enforced in the class is to understand what we were learning, which is respectable. Although, research psychology can be hard and is not the favored subject to students, therefore it would've been nicer if I didn't feel like a failure throughout the course. She makes curves in the end.

    Course highlights:

Research Psychology can be hard. If you have a passion for psychology like me, then the effort will be worth it. If you are curious about the course, it will be hard for you and stressful.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Print out slides, so that you can write down what she is saying. You barely need the book. You need more of what she says and if anything you can use google for further explanations. MUST do the study guide and try to hand in everything on time. Like I said she's a tough grader, so try to go to anything that will help you study (i.e. study sessions, peer studying). Also, for your paper try to do really well because it is easy to fail an exam. Finally, don't just learn the material. Try to understand what you are reading.
