    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Doyle is a fair grader, and keeps the class interesting. Class discussions occur frequently, and they're usually informative and entertaining, so it's hard to get bored in her class. Expect a lot of work, however, she gives you 10 homework assignments, 2 pages each, along with the usual 4 essays.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were definitely her class discussions. She encouraged the class to talk about any issues that came up from the assignments, which kept class interesting and fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely buy the book. You're going to need to use the book for homework assignments and some of the essays, and always bring it to class with you! Also, attendance is very important. Since it's an english class, the department is strict on how many classes you can miss, so go to class!
