Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking General Chenmistry because it creates a solid foundation if your planning on going to med school.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course is an interactive lecture where we go over chapter by chapter and than take a quiz on topics learned previously. We covered topics from thermodynamics to redox reactions. In the Lordy amicus we learned how to measure change in temperature of solutions with changes in the environment. I learned about strong intermolecular forces that many elements and compounds have.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read chapters before sitting in lecture and make notes cards write after class also rewrite your notes and redo the problems that you went over in class in order to fully grasp the information. Than do textbook problems which are assigned by professors.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this method because my classmates put too much emphasis on studying, thus depriving themselves of sleep. In order to provide high quality performance during the final examination, it is imperative for a student to have balance between studying and relaxation. For an optimal state of mind during the final, stress-relieve and proper sleep is a necessity.

    Course highlights:

Through this course, I realized the complexity of the human body and how it utilizes the natural resources, elements and compounds, for its maintenance and survival. I learned problem solving skills and the importance of perseverance through the manipulation of variables to solve chemical processes. I enjoyed the difficulty of the class and found the challenge of the coursework invigorating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need the textbook for this course because completing the assigned practice problems is a great study method to remember processes for solving problems. Also, take good notes in class so you maintain better retention of the lesson.
