    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She is strict and gives lower grades than deserved every time. I did all of the work, on time, and it was still a major struggle. The writing studio was very difficult. The teacher dealt with so many students that she didn't even know who I was. Extra help must be scheduled, which is great, but it was only one or two days out of the week. Whenever I was free, which was a Tuesday, she wouldn't be in class that day, Which is understandable. Her lectures are great-but difficult.

    Course highlights:

She's very critical of your work but at the same time very constructive. She knows what it takes to write a good paper and how to help you achieve that goal. Your writing will improve and I learn how to write a little better.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do yourself a favor and if you have this professor or are enrolled in the studio in general, switch out! she is a terrible professor, if you try to write about anything that does not fit her opinion your grade will go down. Even when i went for extra help it would not work, for example we wrote a thesis statement together and she graded it harsh.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course with Professor Reid because he makes so many funny jokes and gets that students are busy and do not have all the time in the world to study.

    Course highlights:

I loved how we had to write an essay based on a movie we watched and how it relates to today's social issues.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do all of your work on time you will have no problem getting a good grade.
