    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The nursing program itself at Morris County was beyond challenging. However, I truly feel it prepared me well not only for the boards but for my career. So well in fact- that I succeeded as a new grad ICU nurse!

    Course highlights:

I learned a surplus of information in this course. Some of the most valuable information I had retained was in regards to advanced med-surg care and sepsis. The sepsis education that they provided us with was easy to understand but was incredibly useful as a new grad ICU nurse.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare yourself before each class. Read the slides and book prior to each class. It really helped me understand what they were discussing in class and made much more sense.
