Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Fundamentals is a required course for the nursing program at NJCU. The reason I would recommend it is because of Professor Branchizio. She is phenomenal. She engages her students through her passion and truly instills knowledge. She does not provide test maps for the course but if you follow along with her power points you will be more than ok!
Fundamentals teaches nursing students exactly that, fundamentals. There is a lab component for the first 7 weeks where students learn how to distribute medications, insert foley catheters, insert nasogastric tubes etc. It is then followed by another 7 weeks of clinical rotation at a nearby nursing home.

Advice for students:
PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS! Follow along with Professor B's power points. Record lecture and then listen to it again. She will tell you to read the book, but in the interest of time only read what you cannot absorb in class as a supplement. Practice questions on the evolve website are also helpful to gauge what your strengths and weaknesses are.
