    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course as I feel counseling is such an important part of behavioral health integration. Once the information is researched and gathered, action steps much be applied for the betterment of the field. Clinical counseling and behavioral health are focused of human relationships and how they can help others grow and learn about themselves in order to make difffifcult choices and handle more difficult problems.

    Course highlights:

    Learning the counseling theories was the best part. Their are eras and decades of information regarding the process and progress of psychology and counseling. It's to follow along with many historians such as Sigmund Freud, Victor Frankl, and Carl Rogers explain the importance of the helping relationship.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study often, Engage in the conversation, Learn more outdside the class, Ask the professor to be a mentor.

    If you intend to go into the field of School Counseling, understanding theories, concepts and techniques are​ imperative.

    Course highlights:

    I learned that an integrative approach is what the professional counselor should strive for. However, gaining that approach takes a lot of work, research, ​and dedication.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    To succeed in this major, you will need to be dedicated and committed to the end result. It will be difficult​ at times, maintaining the work. However, studying in advance and having great time-management will also help.
