    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking General Chemistry 1 because I love chemistry. I make silly mistakes occasionally but it is still one of my passions. The teacher is great as well and I like her teaching method.

    Course highlights:

We have learned about the fundamental principles of chemistry, such as percent yield, gas laws, and redox reactions. I have not completed this course yet because I am only a college freshman, but I enjoy it a lot.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Any students struggling with chemistry should definitely go to the tutoring services available. Many people struggle with this subject, so there are plenty of services you can look to. Always answer questions on your I-clickers, even if you don't know the answer!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're in a major that requires chem, don't stress! Each professor puts the PowerPoint slides online for you to refer to while studying or doing homework. If the slides aren't helping, Yahoo answers has helped me a lot in showing step by step how to solve each problem.

    Course highlights:

Chemistry is actually pretty interesting. You learn about things you thought you already knew. Like, air consists of Oxygen right? But it also contains Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, and even Argon. Chemistry is a good class to take if you want your mind blown.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know how to use your calculator and always bring it with you. The numbers used in Chemistry can be significantly large or small and difficult to calculate by hand.
