    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course because it was mandatory to take it. However, although the material can be challenging at first it is satisfying to understand it in the end.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning how molecules interact and bind with one another, how certain atoms like to give off electrons while others enjoy receiving them, and really how chemistry surrounds our lives.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest to read the textbook assigned in class, take notes on the lecture before class and maybe use the Cornell note taking method if it works for you, and lastly be attentive in class. Don't use your phone, talk to your friend, or fall asleep because you might miss something important!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you don't know anything, she presents the information easily. If you know your stuff be prepared to be bored.

    Course highlights:

Being able to help the other students.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook. Khan Academy it before class starts to do well.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking General Chemistry 1 because I love chemistry. I make silly mistakes occasionally but it is still one of my passions. The teacher is great as well and I like her teaching method.

    Course highlights:

We have learned about the fundamental principles of chemistry, such as percent yield, gas laws, and redox reactions. I have not completed this course yet because I am only a college freshman, but I enjoy it a lot.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Any students struggling with chemistry should definitely go to the tutoring services available. Many people struggle with this subject, so there are plenty of services you can look to. Always answer questions on your I-clickers, even if you don't know the answer!
