Advice for students:
I spent a tremendous amount of time becoming familiar with Industry Terminology, which made the basic geometrical computations seem to be presented in Greek (The tabulations eventually make sense, with repetition). Beware: sometimes half the students are already employed in the field and quite familiar with things that might throw newbies for a loop in the initial weeks. READ AHEAD before lectures begin. Watch Youtube videos. Especially with the Summer Course, there is so precious little time provided to absorb the fundamental principles, even though the Geometry might be familiar.
